(take note of the date, it was released in Sg on MY BIRTHDAY! xD)
Yesterday, i caught [New Moon].
despite the Twilight saga being overated and overpopularized (friends will know that i prefer not to chase after popular stuff), i can't help but like it. i smiled and got excited when i was watching the movie. -.-'' like a lil girl. its not as if the the way the flim was shot was beautiful (think Lord of the rings) or that the soundtrack was alluring (think Disney). i guess its just the story. the feelings depicted by the author herself. Stephanie Meyer. noob as she may be, (she unconventionally used the first-person perspective despite people telling her that this writing style is not popular among readers), the story just feeds every girl's fantasy. well, my fantasy at least. and every other girl who joined the "Edward Cullen makes the perfect bf" facebook group. -.-'''
there is this scene in [New Moon] that's left lingering in my thoughts. you know the part where Edward is by Bella's bedside and he goes "he's (her dad) not gonna forgive me that easily. how about you? will you forgive me?" or something like that. bella didn't even consider that. she forgave him from the moment they were reunited. i'm just wondering if it was me in that situation, if i would forgive him that easily. the promises he laid, all the words of affirmation he made only to have him suddenly, so suddenly and randomly say goodbye. and then he reappears and expects all to be well? well, Edward did have a supernatural and damm cool reason for doing that but i doubt anyone in the world has a reason as "acceptable" as his. so nope, i guess i won't forgive him.
the thought-triggering effect is only one of the reasons as to why i like the Twilight Saga (i have all 4 books and i'm planning to catch all 4 movies in the cinema).
I.JUST.LIKE.TWILIGHT. :D
on the sidenote, Taylor Lautner is GORGEOUS. talk about hot bod. xD
Team Jacob represents the badboy gang, man, buffed up, sporty, tech savvy, good mechanics, all "bros b4 hoes"-ish,
VS
Team Edward - the elegant pretty boys, beautiful, talented, mysterious, knowledgable.
wonder which team i'm on. hmmmmm.
LOL.
guess i haven't been watching movies in a long time, all my movie insights thrown into this one.
